Do you believe our Bollywood stars and business tycoons can buy a cricket team for themselves but not play cricket? Think again! The Kolkata Knight Riders team management led by Shahrukh Khan, and the Royal Challengers Bangalore team management led by Vijay Mallya, played a ten-over match against each another at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore recently.
RCB won the toss and elected to bowl first. Shahrukh Khan, who has given many huge hits at the box office, was a hit on the cricket field as well. He played like a Baadshah and got his team to a score of 67 for 5 at the end of their innings. Mallya’s men (you can’t call the team management member boys, can you?) chased the target and won the match effortlessly! The Junior Mallya, Siddharth Mallya was seen wearing gloves and keeping wickets for RCB!
And not to mention, when SRK came out to bat for KKR, the giant screen in the stadium flashed the text- ‘Khan he do it?’
Well, he absolutely did it and won the Man of the Match award. Great going SRK! Haar kar bhi Man of The Match jeetne wale ko SRK kehte hai!
