Beiber, who took home six Billboard awards, made news by kissing girlfriend Selena Gomez for the first time in public after it was announced he'd won the top new artist award.

Host and The Hangover Part Ii star Ken Jeong and country musician Keith Urban performed a banjo duel during the show. "We worked on ideas for about a month," said Jeong after the show. " For me, all comedians want to be rock stars, so to be able to hang out with some of these stars just for a little while is a lifetime of memories."

Singer Beyonce was presented with Billboard's Millennium Award by with her nephew Daniel Julez and mother Tina Knowles.


Rihanna & Britney Spears Performace at the Billboard Music Awards
Britney Spears joined Rihanna onstage for a duet of the singer's hit "S&M." After the performance, the singers shared a kiss that was not shown on ABC's broadcast.


Matthew Morrison and Taylor Swift at the Billboard Music Awards
Matthew Morrison presented the Billboard 200 Album Artist of the Year award to Taylor Swift onstage at the show which was held in the MGM Grand hotel. "The fans have done it all for me, it¹s like I¹m constantly trying to think of ways to thank them," Swift told reporters after the show.
